Three members of the Leeds Tykes squad have made The Rugby Paper’s National 2 North dream team. They are:
- Kieran Davies – recognised as “a great ball player, runner and kicker… controlled contests brilliantly, got Leeds on the front foot constantly pushing the side in attack”
- Jake Brady – recognised as a “wonderful, consistent operator in the lineout”
- Will Dennis – recognised as “being great in the loose for a strong Tykes pack, who dominated at scrum time… Dennis was the standout tighthead of the campaign”
Also mentioned are Tom Williams, Harry Jukes, Will Hardwick, Lucas Walsh and Toby Williams.
This National 2 North dream team was published in The Rugby Paper on Sunday 12 May. Ben Jaycock canvassed reporters to select the team of the season.
