In a new appointment for the Leeds Tykes, Warwick Andrews will be taking on the role as its first Managing Director from 1 July.
Warwick joined the Tykes at the start of this year, in a consultancy role, to lead our commercial planning and preparation for the upcoming season as well as supporting our Matchday and external events programme.
As we prepare for the 2025-26 season in National 1, the board felt a need to ensure there was a commercial lead for the club alongside an internal management role to align our on-and off-pitch departments.
Alastair Da Costa, Chair of Leeds Tykes said:
“We are very pleased to have Warwick join us in this role. His considerable experience in sports club leadership will be a real asset for us as we continue the development of Leeds Tykes on and off the pitch.”
Warwick joins the Tykes with a 30-year background in the sports sector including extensive work within Irish and Welsh rugby amongst numerous governing bodies and sports organisations, and most recently, as the former Managing Director of Leeds Knights ice hockey team.
We look forward to seeing Warwick’s leadership of the club take the Tykes to the next level – Welcome to Tykes Country Warwick!
