We’re looking for supporters who want to get more involved

We’re introducing Leeds Tykes Ambassadors – a group of supporters who want to give their time and enthusiasm to help with matchdays at The Sycamores and help us create a welcoming, organised experience for sponsors, guests and supporters.

What could you help with?

There is a range of potential roles, including:

Ticket Entry – checking tickets and taking payment from supporters paying on the gate.
Parking & Wayfinding – helping arriving guests with parking and directing them towards entrances and facilities.
Raffle – selling raffle tickets pre-match and during the first half, helping with prizes and supporting the draw.
Merchandise – running the merchandise point, taking payments and helping supporters with purchases.
PA & Matchday Announcements – supporting announcements during the game, including scores, substitutions, sponsors, raffle information and other matchday messages.
Hospitality Support – helping welcome hospitality guests and supporting the hospitality experience where required.
Matchday Setup & Pack-down – helping prepare signage, merchandise, raffle materials and other areas before gates open, as well as helping afterwards.
General Matchday Support – assisting with any other jobs that arise during the day and helping the wider Tykes team keep everything running smoothly.

When would we need you?

Most of the roles will need support before kick-off. With a 14:00 home kick-off, for example, we would need Ambassadors from around 12:00.

We’d like to get our first Leeds Tykes Ambassadors involved from Saturday 19 September, so if you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you as soon as possible. If you can’t start on 19 September, that’s absolutely fine – just let us know when you would be available.

Matchday briefing
Ahead of each home fixture, we’ll hold a short matchday briefing with all Leeds Tykes Ambassadors before supporters arrive. This will confirm everyone’s role for that particular game, run through timings and any key information or changes, and make sure everyone knows who they are reporting to.

Who can become a Leeds Tykes Ambassador?

You don’t need previous volunteering experience. You simply need to be someone who wants to contribute to the club and is happy to take on an agreed role.

Leeds Tykes Ambassadors will be trusted representatives of the club, with a short induction covering their role and the club’s expectations. Ambassadors are not club spokespeople, so if you’re unsure about something, we’ll ask you to refer the question back to the club.

Interested?

If you’d like to become a Leeds Tykes Ambassador, please complete this short form. We’ll review the responses really quickly and be in touch with the next steps.

Get involved. Give something back. Help make things happen.
