It’s a tough league but we have a core group in the squad that have experienced the ups and downs over the last 5 years and that is going to count when it gets challenging. Hoping we can give a better account of ourselves in National 1 this season compared to previous seasons.”

ABN Resource sponsors Harry.

Henry Macnab
The scrum-half usually plays on the wing when he pulls on the Tyles jersey. He made 10 appearances, scoring 3 tries, in our last campaign in a season hampered by injury.

On his re-signing, Henry said: “Re-signing was a no brainer, I moved to the club with the aspiration to play the level above. I’m looking forward to this new challenge, with last year’s injuries, I’m looking forward to getting back and hitting the ground running in pre-season.”

Fiona Shotton sponsors Henry.

Adam Brown
Our team captain and hooker made 25 appearances last season and was our top try scorer with 24 tries. This made Adam the joint second-highest try scorer in the league. He was named hooker of the season in National League Rugby’s XV of the season for National 2 North.

We asked Adam about his reasons for re-signing. He explained: “I decided to stay as I want to go as far as we can as a club, especially after getting back into National 1. It’s been a privilege to captain the club for the last two years, so staying around was the only thing on my mind anyway.

“I think we’ve got something growing more as a club as well, which is great to be a part of.”

Tony Snowdon sponsors Adam Brown.

Seremaia Bai Turagabeci
