By Angela Rimmington Brown
Re-signings (announced to date) 2025-26

As we look ahead to an exciting 2025/26 season, we’re delighted to confirm the return of some key players who have re-signed with us. Their commitment, experience, and passion continue to be an integral part of our team’s journey, both on and off the field.

More signatures secured:

Tom Collins
The lock/flanker made 16 appearances last season

Louis Guthrie
Louis made 8 appearances after he rejoined the Tykes in January after a loan spell at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Eliah Chitiyo
Blink and you’ll miss Eliah sprinting up the wing! Last season, he scored 11 tries in 11 appearances. Eliah’s try against Otley in December was voted the Tykes’ try of the season at our awards event.

Kit Keith
Last season’s Young Player of the Season racked up 79 points on our last campaign. He scored 4 tries, 28 conversions and 1 penalty. Primarily a scrum-half, Kit often played in other positions when coming off the bench.
Kit is sponsored by Projected Image.

Tom, Louis and Eliah are all available to sponsor.

Re-signings announcement 2

Tom Williams
The inside centre made 17 appearances last season, scoring 7 tries.

This is what Tom had to say about his re-signing: “This promotion means more than people probably realise. I’ve put a lot into this club—physically, mentally and there were times it felt like we were miles off. But we stuck in, dug deep, and now we’re here. I’m proud of the lads, proud of the journey, and proud to wear this shirt.”

Oracle Car Finance sponsor Tom.

Charlie Venables
Charlie is a full-back/utility back who is also our strength and conditioning coach. He made 26 appearances, scoring 7 tries, in our last campaign playing in all positions across the backs.

Eileen Dockray sponsors Charlie.

Eddie Brown
Eddie plays across the back row but can usually be found at #8. He scored 7 tries in his 22 appearances.

Brown Bag Protein sponsor Adam Brown.

Jonny Teague
The openside flanker made 13 appearances last season, scoring his only try after a lung-busting run away at Otley.

Sheena Yull sponsors Jonny

Harry Whitfield
The prop made 14 appearances last season, scoring 3 tries. One of the tries will go down in Tykes’s history for his barnstorming run and multiple hand-offs.

ABN Resource sponsors Harry.

Henry Macnab
The scrum-half usually plays on the wing when he pulls on the Tyles jersey. He made 10 appearances, scoring 3 tries, in our last campaign in a season hampered by injury.

On his re-signing, Henry said: “Re-signing was a no brainer, I moved to the club with the aspiration to play the level above. I’m looking forward to this new challenge, with last year’s injuries, I’m looking forward to getting back and hitting the ground running in pre-season.”

Fiona Shotton sponsors Henry.

Adam Brown
Our team captain and hooker made 25 appearances last season and was our top try scorer with 24 tries. This made Adam the second-highest try scorer in the league.

We asked Adam about his reasons for re-signing. He explained: “I decided to stay as I want to go as far as we can as a club, especially after getting back into National 1. It’s been a privilege to captain the club for the last two years, so staying around was the only thing on my mind anyway.

“I think we’ve got something growing more as a club as well, which is great to be a part of.”

Tony Snowdon sponsors Adam Brown.

Seremaia Bai Turagabeci
The fly-half/full-back/winger made 19 appearances last season, scoring 3 tries, 1 penalty and 21 conversions.

The Girls On Tour sponsor Jerry.

Stay tuned as we reveal more returning players over the coming weeks!
