Pitch Boards
By sponsoring a Leeds Tykes pitch board at West Park Leeds RUFC, you are supporting community sport. Each board will provide a contribution to the club which hosts many different sports, from American Football to Archery.
Your board will be positioned around the main pitch where your company branding and logo will become synonymous with sport, rugby and the Leeds Tykes brand. Footfall at the ground is into the thousands each week, not to mention the Rugby Review show which shows highlights of all Tykes games online to its subscribers from around the country.
Player Sponsorship
Sponsoring a Tyke comes with a range of benefits.
Your company name and logo will accompany the player biography on the Leeds Tykes website with a link to your own website
All social media recognition for the player when they score a try or win man of the match etc. will include sponsor recognition and your company logo.
A season ticket for entry to all home games.
Pre game hospitality for two at a home game of your choice.
Invitations to the ‘sponsors evening’ where we will enjoy a meal and night out as a group with the players and their respective sponsors.
Match Sponsorship
Match sponsorship provides a great opportunity to entertain clients or share a great day out with colleagues and friends. Proceedings start around 1pm, or slightly earlier in the winter months. A hearty two course meal will be provided in the modern and spacious clubhouse. The bar will be open with a full selection of beverages available. Our Director of Rugby or a coach will pop in between coaching duties to share with you his thoughts on the days game and any strategies the Tykes may be employing!
The match will commence soon after lunch finishes, where you will be able to spectate the game from the comfort of the clubhouse balcony. The view is the best in the ground and the walk to the bar is short. Towards the end of the game you will be given the opportunity to choose your Leeds Tykes Man of the Match.
After the game finishes, you’ll be invited to join the team on the pitch to present champagne to your chosen winner and pose for a picture. The bar will slowly fill as the players make their way up from the changing rooms. Enjoy chatting to the players about the events of the game and share a drink at the bar.
Community Programme Sponsor
Leeds Tykes have a community programme that has been running since the Spring of 2021. Since then, a great number of young people and adults have benefitted. The aim of the community programme is to promote rugby to all in the Leeds area, increasing participation and involvement in the game, promoting the values of rugby and creating a link with community clubs and schools to Leeds Tykes.
We have highly qualified coaches that deliver ‘introduction to rugby’ sessions to primary children and more advanced rugby sessions to secondary school children and the children already playing at the community clubs around the city.
Sponsorship of this project would provide new equipment such as balls, tackle pads and bibs that can be used as resources in the coaching sessions. These can all be branded with sponsor logos. Additionally, sponsorship would provide more coaching hours and increase delivery and therefore the impact the programme can have in and around Leeds.
