On signing for Leeds Tykes, Sam said: “It’s all about getting Leeds Tykes back to where they ought to be. If I can help with that in any way for a few years and get them back to where they, inevitably, should be, that’s what I want to do. And score as many tries in the process as I can.
“I want to play as often as possible and stay fit. It’s a really good squad with good facilities. I want to stay fit for all the games and get over the (try) line as often as I can.”
