James Phillips has joined Leeds Tykes as Consultant Forwards Coach. James who started his career Bristol, before playing for Exeter, Bath and Sale, said: “Leeds Tykes has a great squad. I’m very excited to work with this exciting squad that has so much potential.
“I can’t wait to get back into pre-season and lay the foundations for the big season ahead.”
Commenting on James joining the coaching team, Head Coach, Jon Callard said of the former forward: “I’m delighted that ‘Phillsy’ is going to join us a consultant and start his coaching journey with us. He has a wealth of Premiership playing experience and has the opportunity to pass that on to the next generation of Leeds Tykes players, which I am really excited about.
“It’s no secret that we need to develop this part of our plan, and we have a top-notch individual to take it, and us, forward.”
