Leeds Tykes is delighted to announce five more players who have committed their future to the club for the 2023/24 campaign.

They are:

Jacob Mounsey
The powerful winger scored in 5 of his 15 appearances of the 2022/23 season. He represented Yorkshire in this summer’s Bill Beaumont Senior Men’s County Championship.

Will Smith
The flanker made 13 appearances for the Tykes last season.

Kieran Davies
The fall-back scored 9 tries during his 19 matches of the 2022/23 season. He was awarded The Colin Cramphorn Trophy for the Supporters’ Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season.

Ben Dixon
Ben was named Men of Steel in October 2022. It was awarded after a vote by his coaches and peers for his performances throughout pre-season and into the first part of the 2022/23 season.

He was ever-present last season, appearing in all matches either starting or from the bench.

Tom Williams
The centre scored 6 tries during his 16 appearances last season.

On his re-signing, Kieran said: “The geography of the league and the local Yorkshire derbies sets up for a pretty exciting season.

“I wholeheartedly believe we can bounce straight back up.”

Jacob added: “Next season I’m looking forward to putting a run of games together where I’m in form and playing well. I want to push the other finishers and compete with them to be Tykes’ top try scorer.”
