After Saturday’s match, Director of Rugby, Pete Seabourne, presented Rotherham Titan’s second rower, Matt Challinor with a technicoloured rugby shirt.
Pete explained why: “I was lucky to coach Matt early on in his career at Morley. I have watched his ‘no holds barred’ approach to the game. He has been an outstanding player. A few weeks ago, in what was probably his last season, Matt unfortunately succumbed to a nasty leg break at Lymm.
“I felt only right that I could present Matt with this specially commissioned shirt to honour the outstanding career he has had on behalf of all the clubs he has served with distinction and Yorkshire.”
