Nickname: Junez
Junior was born in Auckland to Samoan parents. He went to St Peter’s college and left at seventeen to move to Australia to study English Literature and Theatre Studies. He left the University of Melbourne with a BA. During his later years in education he played rugby for Melbourne Rebels U20s and Samoan U20s at the World Cup.
Junior moved to Spain at age 22 and played for El Salvador in Madrid for three years. After his time in Spain he moved to France and signed for Tarbes in the 2018/19 season, the season that was paused due to Covid.
Once restrictions were lifted Junior moved to Leeds and signed for Leeds Tykes.
His favourite rugby player/hero is Ma’a Nonu. If he could be a superhero he would be Batman.
